Cost
Polyphen is made from chemicals with significantly lower cost per unit weight than competing products, such as polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foams. This feature, combined with higher fire resistance, ensures that Polyphen can be produced at very competitive cost compared to other fire resistant core materials suitable for steel clad sandwich panels and rendering.
