Polyphen® is made from chemicals with significantly lower cost per unit weight than competing products, such as polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foams. This feature, combined with higher fire resistance, ensures that Polyphen® can be produced at a very competitive cost compared to other fire resistant core materials that are suitable for steel clad sandwich panels and rendering.
